ACRL 2021 Recap

I recently attended my first ACRL (Association of College & Research Libraries) conference, which was held virtually in April. The conference theme was "Ascending into an Open Future," and packed with great content over four days. Many of the presentations I attended were excellent, thought-provoking, and aspirational. I will carry the information and ideas discussed with me for a long while. Here are just a few highlights from the presentations I attended.

The Tri-College University 2021 Library Workshop will be held virtually on Tuesday, February 9, and Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. each day. The registration form and previous save-the-dates listed these dates incorrectly. The above dates are correct.

Computers in Libraries virtual conference discounted through Minitex

This year's Computers in Libraries Conference is going virtual. The cost to attend is $299, but you can save $100 by participating in the Group Discount Plan through Minitex.

PALS to host free virtual conference in April

The MnPALS virtual spring conference, Flexibility in Library Services: Rediscovering Our Work, will be held April 5-9, 2021. All sessions will take place between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and the conference will have two themes, "Making the Most of Alma/Primo VE" and "Moving Beyond the ILS." The conference is free to attend. The planning committee is currently accepting session proposals using an online form. The deadline to submit a proposal is January 22.
