Presidential Nomination Primaries 101

In March 2024, Minnesota will hold a presidential nomination primary to vote for each major party's nominee for President. Learn all the details so you're prepared to answer questions from your patrons. Topics covered will include resources to share with your patrons and information on the early voting period (already underway), the ballot, changes to precinct caucuses, new voting laws, and more.

Melanie Hazelip will be our presenter. Melanie is the Voter Outreach Director for the Office of Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon. She spends her days working to ensure every Minnesotan exercises their right to vote and believes democracy is not a spectator sport. We all must participate!
