Help your patrons access the voting process

Minitex and the Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State are partnering to offer this webinar to help library staff prepare for the upcoming midterm elections. The expertise will be provided by Melanie Hazelip, the office's voter outreach director.

The workshop will give you the resources and tools you need to help library patrons access the voting process. We’ll cover voter registration, the different ways to vote, our election calendar, what’s on the ballot this year, and more. Libraries are not only the hub of information for their communities, but they are also often polling places. We’ll make sure you and your library visitors can make a plan to be a voter. We'll also set aside time for your questions so you have all the information you need to feel comfortable supporting the legal voting process.
