South Dakota Library Association: Highlights from the 2017 conference
Several staff from Minitex attended the South Dakota Library Association Annual Conference in beautiful Chamberlain, South Dakota, September 27-29. 2017. Patrick "PC" Sweeney from EveryLibrary was the opening keynote. EveryLibrary is the nation's first and only Political Action Committee for libraries. In this talk, he discussed how libraries can move from being advocates to activists.
Changes for South Dakota resource sharing agreement begin July 1st
Beginning July 1, 2016, the resource sharing agreement between Minitex and South Dakota libraries will be changed. Minitex will retain a resource sharing relationship with the 12 academic institutions in South Dakota.
Reflections on the 2015 SDLA Annual Conference
Minitex staff traveled to Rapid City South Dakota in late September to attend and present at the South Dakota Library Association Annual Conference. Along the way, we stopped at Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell and the School of Mines & Technology in Rapid City, South Dakota.
