New legislative funding expands ELM nursing coverage
Minitex will add two nursing and healthcare databases to eLibrary Minnesota (ELM): EBSCO CINAHL Complete, and ProQuest Nursing and Allied Health Premium. The resources will become available statewide beginning July 1. Minitex thanks the Office of Higher Education and our partners in the library community for this opportunity to improve our support for healthcare in Minnesota.
Upcoming changes to ELM collection
We wanted to provide a little more detail to Minnesota libraries on changes to eLibrary Minnesota as a result of our recent announcement of intended databases.
Statewide databases selected!
After a year-long process of planning, evaluation, needs assessment, proposal solicitation, and content review, Minitex and the Shared E-Resources (SER) Task Force are excited to announce our intended statewide database package.
Statewide database selection continues
Work continues to review proposed resources and select a new collection of statewide databases, albeit in a newly online environment.
Additional e-resources available statewide through the school year
Minitex Temporary Access Databases indicates resources that are available until June of 2020 in order to support libraries and schools in online teaching and learning.
Provide feedback now on proposed statewide databases
Twenty vendors have proposed e-resources for inclusion in statewide collections in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Trial access is available to all of them, and a Community Feedback Survey is ready to gather your input.
