The National Digital Stewardship Alliance launched its Levels of Digital Preservation guidelines in 2013 as a set of recommendations for how organizations can begin to build or enhance their digital preservation activities.
The National Digital Stewardship Alliance (NDSA) released Staffing for Effective Digital Preservation 2017: An NDSA Report. This is a follow-up to a 2012 survey on the same topic. The report investigates how 133 organizations staff and organize their digital preservation functions, and points out any changes from the 2012 survey. At the Digital Library Federation Forum session Power to the People: Personal Digital Archiving Labs, four different organizations spoke about their personal digital archiving programs and projects. Organizations represented in the session included Madison, Wisconsin Public Library, DC Public Library, the New York City XFR Collective, and the iSchool at UW-Madison.
