MELSA Executive Director Ken Behringer is retiring
After serving the library community in many key roles over his career, most recently as Executive Director of MELSA, Ken Behringer is retiring. Please drop in to wish him well at an informal reception in the MELSA meeting room at 1619 Dayton Avenue, Suite 320 in Saint Paul.
Sara Ring wins 2015 MLA President's Award
The Minnesota Library Association honored Sara Ring with their President's Award on October 8 at the St. Paul RiverCentre. The President's Award "recognizes significant and major contributions" by members of the Association. Ring is former chair of the MLA Communications Committee and led the effort this year to digitize and preserve a portion of the MLA archives.
Ken Behringer tapped to lead MELSA
The MELSA Board of Trustees appointed Ken Behringer as MELSA Executive Director. Behrenger will begin his work with MELSA in late November. Behrenger previously led the Minnesota Library Information Network (MnLINK), Great River Regional Library, and, most recently, the Dakota County Library.
