About Rachel Wightman
Rachel Wightman is an academic librarian and a firm believer in connecting people to people and people to information. By day she is the Associate Director for Instruction and Outreach at Concordia University, St. Paul but during evenings and weekends, she has taken her passion for teaching to church congregations, offering workshops in news and information literacy. She has worked in academic libraries both in the US and abroad and has always been drawn to teaching the most practical of information literacy skills. Whether in a college classroom or working with church congregations, she loves teaching people how to consume information wisely and engage mindfully in online spaces.
