About LeRoy Harris
LeRoy Harris is the Programming & Technology Services Librarian at New Ulm Public Library. He began working at the library in 2020 and oversees the planning and facilitation of adult programs representing a wide variety of community interests and activities. In addition, he oversees activities and assistance for both patrons and staff with digital literacy and using technology including the library’s Memory Lab, which recently received a $250,000 grant from the Mellon Foundation to expand its reach and available services.
Prior to working at New Ulm Public Library, he was the Assistant Director for the Apache County Library District in Apache County, Arizona for 4 years and was a library staff member prior. He received his Masters of Library and Information Science from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona.
