About Brigid McCreery
Brigid McCreery is a Research and Instruction Librarian at Macalester College, where she works primarily with natural sciences and emerging technologies. Previously, she worked as a library assistant at the Atmospheric, Oceanic, & Space Sciences Library at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, where she earned her MLIS. In 2023, she completed a fellowship at the University of North Carolina - Charlotte, where she developed and promoted Open Access tools for researchers and authors. She is passionate about research and open information access, and has prior experience in science communication.
