Join us for a completely online ELM Expo Mini! This is a half-day event offered by Minitex Reference Outreach & Instruction. This webinar will walk you through the instructional materials available in the Learning Center and help you learn how to choose and work with databases, create links, and explore extras like the ELM extension, videos, and more!

These resources, new to ELM, are curricular content hubs specifically designed for K-5 students. Modules include Animals and Biographies in the PebbleGo (K-3) tab, and States and American Indian History in the PebbleGo Next (3-5) tab. Informational articles, ready-made activities, and literacy supports including read-along audio and word-by-word highlighting will be covered in this brief 30-minute webinar.

History Day research helps students develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and reading skills. It also helps students build their self-esteem and confidence. This year's theme, Communication in History: The Key to Understanding, is designed to help students think about how communication is used to connect others, how has communication transformed the way people do things, and what forms of communication have been used. In this one hour session, we will discuss the NHD theme and how to apply it to research and final projects.
