UBot is the mascot for the Committee on Institutional Cooperation's (CIC) UBorrow, which is a service offered to the students, faculty and staff of the member institutions. It allows for directly searching the shared catalog of over 90 million volumes that shows realtime availability, and then the patron can submit an unmediated loan request once the desired item is located. UBot has been travelling around, visiting the various CIC member institutions and recently stopped by Minitex and the Unversity of Minnesota. He travelled around campus and had a grand time.
