Are you looking for a challenge in your next library position? Check out the Library Assistant 3 opening in Minitex Resource Sharing located at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus. This position gives you the opportunity to become part of a team dedicated to delivering excellent customer service to Minnesota patrons while developing your expertise in several online interlibrary loan systems. The schedule is 11:30 am - 8 pm in our Referral Processing Area in Andersen Library on the West Bank. The requirements are:
- Five years of relevant library experience. A college education can be substituted for experience on a year for year basis up to three years.
- Demonstrated success working effectively both independently and within teams.
- Good interpersonal skills, including outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Candidate should possess a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Administrative and office skills to include extensive knowledge with integrated automated library systems, database management, and spreadsheet software, (Google Suite, Excel, WorldShare)
- Supervisory and training experience
