The Fosston Public Library’s contribution to the MDL/DPLA Public Library Partnerships Project (PLPP) was the first project we completed for the grant -- the Standard Atlas of Polk County. The plat book contains detailed, hand-drawn maps of all the communities in Polk County in 1930, often complete with names of the property owners, along with advertisements for local businesses, and photos of houses, farms and residents. This rich resource was the first content focused on Polk County to be included in Minnesota Reflections.
Many thanks to librarian Tammi Jalowiec for her participation in the PLPP!
