Duluth Public Library

The Duluth Public Library serves the city of Duluth as both a public library and a repository for a significant historical collection of archival materials which reflect the city’s history. The Duluth Public Library has been active and enthusiastic contributor, and we are now pleased to showcase a recent addition to their collection. 40 early stereograph images of Duluth, Lake Superior, Grand Marais and the surrounding countryside are now part of Minnesota Reflections.

East Polk Heritage

The East Polk Heritage Center is located in Fosston, Minnesota and includes the historic L.W. Larson home, a log cabin constructed in 1887, as well as the Moen country school. The Heritage Center has a diverse collection and we are excited to announce the addition of a number of photographs and text based materials relating to the pharmacy profession and patent medicine. We also very excited to announce that we have added a collection of three-dimensional objects in the form of medicine bottles from Mark’s Pharmacy in Fosston.

The Wangensteen Historical Library of Biology and Medicine is located in the University of Minnesota’s BioMed Library. The Wangensteen’s rare book, manuscript and object collection documents the history of health sciences, biology and medicine. We are pleased to announce the addition of a number of medical and pharmacy related three-dimensional objects to Minnesota Reflections.
