Body

The Minnesota Digital Library is excited to announce the addition of a new materials to the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board's collection in Minnesota Reflections. This recent addition of materials includes fold-out park plans and maps found in early Annual Reports of the Board of Park Commissioners. These maps and plans date from the late 19th and early 20th centuries and showcase the Minneapolis park system. The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) is an independently elected, semi-autonomous body responsible for governing, maintaining and developing the Minneapolis Park System. This project was part of the MDL/DPLA Public Library Partnerships Project, made possible by funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
