I had the great good fortune to both attend and present at last week's 2016 Digital Library Federation Forum held in Milwaukee, WI. While wearing my "attendee hat" I was able to connect with like-minded professionals from across the country. I attended sessions on a wide range of topics from digital scholarship and digital humanities to project management and practical digital workflows. Of particular interest to me were the sessions that dealt with the workflows and challenges associated with migrating rights statements -- of especial note is the ground-breaking work being done at the University of Miami and their adoption of the recent Digital Public Library of America's recommendations. This work will help inform some of our future work here at the Minnesota Digital Library.

I also very much appreciated the chance to join "Metadata Support Group" lunch where I had the opportunity to both hear about other institutions' projects and share what the Minnesota Digital Library is working on. Later in the conference I put on my "presenter hat" and shared the work we have done recently with the Minnesota Reflections' Primary Source Sets. I am pleased to report that our Primary Source Set project was met with both enthusiasm and interest.
