Body

In the new eLibrary Minnesota portal, you can find databases by name in the A-Z All Databases tab or by using one of the other green tabs on the front page: Student Research, Ebooks, Job & Career, News & Magazines, or Health & Wellness.

Did you know that you can also search for databases by topic, publication, or content type?

  • The Topic Search drop down menu is on the front page of the portal and features topics such as Arts, Education, History Day, and Minnesota.

  • In the Find a Publication search box on the front page, you can enter the title, publisher, subject, or ISSN/ISBN of a publication to see if it's available, or browse all publications by clicking on the link below the search box.

  • To search by Content Type, click on the green A-Z All Databases tab, and you'll find the drop down menu which recommends databases based on the type of content you are looking for, including Animal Information, Images, Primary Sources, Science Experiments, and more. You can also search by Vendor or enter the name of a database you are looking for from this page.

To learn more about the databases, check out the Learning Center. Please let us know if you have any questions about finding databases in the new portal!
