Project MUSE is pleased to announce that pricing for the 2017 MUSE book collections is now available. New collections include the Complete Set of all 2017 books from all participating publishers, subject collections, area studies collections and a new series collection, Hermeneia: A Critical and Historical Commentary on the Bible.
The Hermeneia commentary series, published by Fortress Press, seeks to offer authoritative interpretation of the earliest texts of the biblical books and other literature closely related to the Bible. MUSE will offer an initial 50-volume set.
The depth and breadth of learned books on MUSE continues to grow with over 200 participating publishers offering book length scholarship in a variety of subjects. MUSE anticipates that over 49,000 books will be available and searchable on the platform by the end of 2017. The MUSE book collections offer many features convenient to libraries as well as to students, faculty, and researchers including:
-DRM-free content
-Unlimited simultaneous usage
-No restrictions on printing or downloading
-Mobile accessibility
-Perpetual access rights for purchased books
-Books and journals searchable and discoverable on one platform
MUSE also welcomes two new publishers who will be adding their books to the collections in 2017:
-Leiden University Press
-Liturgical Press
