from ProQuest

In order to keep you up-to-date with EBL and ebrary's integration progress, we thought it may be helpful to address some commonly asked questions we've heard since the acquisition in May. You'll also be hearing news in the coming weeks about EBL's new LibCentral admin module - so stay tuned for more information!

Q. You are building a new combined platform. Does that mean you are no longer supporting the existing EBL and ebrary platforms?

A. No. In fact the work we're doing right now will enhance both the EBL and ebrary platforms separately and then you'll also see those benefits in the new platform. As mentioned above, you'll be hearing more information about LibCentral soon, and then in early 2014 ebrary will be redesigning our reader experience.

Q. We have a current subscription to ebrary's Academic Complete and we also have EBL's Demand-driven Acquisition access model. What will happen to these models on the new platform?

A. We will continue to support all EBL and ebrary models on the new combined ebook platform, so please rest assured that you won't lose any models. You will have additional innovative models to take advantage of, providing you with the most choice to best suit your library.

Q. How can we provide input, requests, or anything else as you build this joint ebook solution?

A. Simply email us your feedback using one of the email addresses below, or get in touch with your current EBL, ebrary, and/or ProQuest contact.
