Read & Ride Day 2017

Bring your library card, dress comfy, and come hungry . . . it's time for Read & Ride Day at The Minnesota State Fair!

Wednesday, August 30th, MELSA is once again sponsoring Read & Ride Day at the Great Minnesota Get-Together.

Public library card holders receive discounted admission when they purchase at the gate and present a valid library card (one discount per card):

• Adults (13-64): $12
• Seniors (65 & over): $9
• Kids (5-12): $9
• Children (Under 5): Free

Read & Ride Day events are ongoing throughout the day in Dan Patch Park, located across from the Grandstand on the west end of the fairgrounds.  Events include:

• performances,
• activities and giveaways,
• Read & Walk: If You Were the Moon,
• Storymobile,

and - of course! - a table full of your favorite Minitexers . . . come say hello!
