In case you haven't already heard, on January 6th, 2016, New York Public Library made over 187,000 of its digitized, public-domain items available for high-resolution download. This marks the most recent effort by NYPL Labs to make library holdings more accessible.
These items include a wide variety of sources such as maps, manuscripts, sheet music, photographs, letters, art, stereoscopic views, and more.
You can search all the items via NYPL's Digital Collections site or via a visualization of all the materials.
