With the launch of the redesigned website, the new Minitex logo is finally live and ready to use! You can access both full color and black versions of this updated wordmark on the Logos & Images page.
The logo is available in multiple versions: the official wordmark, as seen in the navigation menu of the Minitex website; the logo with one tag, as seen in this article; the logo with two tags, as seen on official documents such as the Minitex letterhead; and the square logo, as seen in our social media icons.
The transition from one logo to another would best be described as a marathon, rather than a sprint. Rather than change everything overnight, we will be making updates to existing materials over the course of the next month, and we will need the help of all of our partners to do so. If you are using the old Minitex logo on places such as your website or print materials, please replace it with the new logo using the files we have available on our website.
This new logo was designed to be highly accessible and easily readable in both print and digital formats, and in order to preserve its legibility, we ask that you do not stretch the dimensions of the Minitex logo so that it is any taller or wider than it appears in its official configuration. If you need a version of the logo made to fit specific dimensions and the logo files on our website are unable to fit these dimensions, please feel free to send me an email at wagam003@umn.edu.
