This session is part of the Microsoft 365 for SEFLIN Libraries Series, an 8-week professional development program for SEFLIN librarians, educators, and library staff. Designed to enhance productivity and service delivery, each 60-minute session combines direct instruction with hands-on practice.
Week 5: Excel for Beginners
- Focus: Understanding the workbook structure and basic data handling.
- Navigation: Workbooks, worksheets, rows, columns, and cells.
- Data Entry: Formatting text, numbers, dates, and using Autofill.
- Basic Formulas: SUM, AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, and MIN.
- View Controls: Using Freeze Panes
- Practice (15 mins): Create a simple budget table and total it with AutoSum.
