- ELM Expo
Join us for the ELM Expo, an in-person learning event for library staff and educators who live and work in the Minneapolis–Saint Paul metropolitan area, though anyone is welcome. This interactive experience is designed to help you discover the full potential of eLibrary Minnesota (ELM) and build confidence using its resources in your daily work.
Through live demonstrations, guided activities, and real-world examples, you'll explore how ELM supports learners of all ages—from elementary students to lifelong learners and researchers. Sessions will showcase new and key databases, effective search strategies, and practical techniques you can immediately apply.
Designed to be engaging and hands-on, the Expo encourages you to follow along, ask questions, and connect with colleagues from across the metro area. You'll leave with practical tools, fresh ideas, and increased confidence in helping students and patrons access reliable, high-quality information quickly and effectively.
Whether you're new to ELM or simply looking to refresh your skills, the ELM Expo offers a welcoming environment to learn, collaborate, and discover new ways to make Minnesota's statewide library resources work for your school and community.
Please bring a laptop for hands-on learning. Lunch is provided.
Location: MN Department of Education, 400 NE Stinson Blvd., Minneapolis, 55413
This event is sponsored by Minitex, Metronet, and MDE.
