Join us for an insightful and supportive session examining how imposter feelings affect our work as librarians and what we can do about it. Through an open, reflective discussion, presenters will introduce three practical approaches for navigating and challenging imposter phenomenon:
Individually: journaling practices, brag books, mindset exercises, and mindfulness
In small groups: peer support circles, walking groups, and shared reflective activities
Institutionally: fostering work–life balance, recognizing accomplishments, and creating a culture that celebrates growth
This session is Part 2 of the Embracing Failure: Accepting and Addressing Imposter Phenomenon for Growth series, and is designed to help you build confidence, community, and resilience in your professional journey.
