The Power of Collaboration and Communication: Demonstrating Value and Impact of Academic Libraries in Uncertain Times

The Association of College & Research Libraries published a research agenda emphasizing the importance for academic library staff to match and communicate the library’s contributions to the institution’s mission and to collaborate with stakeholders to identify and assess the impact of libraries on the educational missions of their institutions. Collaboration, communication, and assessment only have become more important during the uncertain times intensified by the pandemic, which are highlighted in the findings of the OCLC New Model Library project.
