Join the Minitex Network for Open & Affordable Practices (MNOP) for a two-day virtual showcase highlighting the work of 2025–2026 MNOP OER Pathfinder Grant awardees. This microgrant program supports collaborative, locally driven efforts to build interdepartmental momentum around open education and affordability initiatives in institutions across Minnesota and South Dakota.
Each day (May 18 and 19, 1:00–2:30 PM Central) will feature six concise, 10-minute presentations from grantee teams. Presenters will share their experiences designing and implementing projects such as marketing initiatives, faculty stipend programs, OER action plans, awareness campaigns, faculty development workshops, and pilot initiatives. These short presentations will offer practical insights into how institutions are advancing their open education work.
Following the presentations, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and connect informally during a brief “virtual reception.”
Whether you are new to OER or looking to expand existing efforts, this event offers a valuable opportunity to learn from peers, gather ideas, and reflect on the diverse paths institutions are taking to advance open and affordable course materials. Below is a list of the institutions who will be presenting on their grant projects:
