Laura Packer to keynote day two of Minitex Connect 2023

Award-winning storyteller and author Laura Packer will deliver the keynote address to Minitex Connect on its second and final day. Packer has been awarded multiple storytelling and best-in-fringe awards. The daughter of a writer and librarian, she specializes in helping organizations shape and tell their stories.

The Minitex Connect planning committee encourages staff from all levels, library types, and sizes to submit a proposal to present at Minitex Connect 2023, to be held online May 2-3. The deadline for submission is March 13.

James Neal to deliver opening keynote at Minitex Connect 2023

James Neal, Senior Program Officer at the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services, will deliver the opening keynote address at Minitex Connect 2023 on May 2. A former Peace Corps volunteer and student of anthropology, Neal has charted a career path through independent bookstores, marketing and public relations, school teaching, scholarly publishing, public libraries, and more.
