The Minnesota Digital Library is excited to announce that the Wright County Historical Society has added new content to their collection in MDL.
The Wright County Historical Society has shared a receipt book, store coupons, and color photographs from the Lantto's Store which was located in French Lake in Wright County. The Lantto's Store has been in operation since 1908. The store's original owner was Abraham Lantto. He passed the store to his son Ernie in 1950. The store sold groceries, clothing and shoes, tools, poultry, and much more.
In addition to the Lantto's Store materials, the Wright County Historical Society has also shared the Daybook of George Doerfler of Wavery Mills, Minnesota. George Doerfler owned the Waverly Store and his daybook documents customer names, items purchased, and cash transactions.

The Wright County Historical Society in Buffalo, Minnesota, collects, preserves, and shares photographs, printed materials, and artifacts related to the people and history of the County. First organized in 1942 and reorganized in 1967, WCHS strives to create a dynamic place where people encounter, explore, share, and learn about the past.
