In 2024, Ely Memorial High School in Ely, Minnesota celebrated its 100th anniversary. To mark the occasion, the Ely Heritage Preservation Commission (HPC) organized an oral history interview project with graduates of the school, starting with Josephine Spreitzer Pruse, Class of 1942, and concluding with Grace LaTourell, Class of 2024.

The video interviews are now available in the Minnesota Digital Library, thanks to the HPC. Together, they help us understand the role and impact of the school on its students and the wider community over the years.
