Quick Summary
An upgraded version of the Points of View Reference Center is now available in ELM.
What Is It?
Points of View Ultimate supports in-depth research into global issues, helping users analyze controversial topics, develop critical thinking, and improve digital literacy.
Points of View Ultimate provides significantly broader coverage than the previous Points of View Reference Source database. The upgraded collection includes 846 additional publications and content collections, increasing the total coverage from 2,967 to 3,813 titles. The expanded database retains all of the content from Points of View Reference Source while adding new material.
Users will find more international perspectives from Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand, along with expanded coverage of sustainability, environmental issues, sociology, business, and public policy. The new collection also introduces additional Research Starters and contemporary topics that support classroom discussion and student research.
