The eLibrary Minnesota (ELM) statewide portal has a fresh new look! We've reorganized the main sections to break out the student audience into Elementary, Middle & High School, and College & Universityā€”and to give Career & Test Prep and Lifelong Learning more visibility. There's also a dedicated Ebooks Minnesota section.
The popular Topic Search and Find a Publication tools are more prominent, and weā€™ve moved All Resources A-Z up to the top of the page, alongside Librarians & Educators.
Reminder: New statewide resources became available July 1.
Two new resources are now part of ELM:
- Craft & Hobby
- Social Explorer
Both are accessible now through the eLibrary Minnesota website. If your library already subscribed to either resource independently, your access continues uninterruptedā€”no action needed.
If your library wants a direct link to either resource (for usage tracking or to integrate with your local authentication system), complete the intake forms for each resource:
New direct links are also available for Points of View Ultimate and Applied Science and Technology Index. Those links are available on the Minitex ELM Set Up page.
New modules for PebbleGo and PebbleGo Next are coming soon.
- PebbleGo: Animals, Biographies, and Science (new)
- PebbleGo Next: Animals (new), Science (new), States, and Indigenous Peoplesā€™ History
Training Now Available:
Register for Craft & Hobby and Social Explorer training sessions now!
We will continue to offer more training opportunities throughout the summer and fall. Minitex Outreach and Instruction Librarians are also available for consultations, one-on-one discussions, and guidance about whether to use access through the eLibrary Minnesota website or set up direct links for your library. Request a consultation and/or instruction with a Minitex Outreach and Instruction Librarian now.
