Did you know that Minitex offers deposit accounts that allow you to simplify how you pay for Minitex products and services? You can pay for subscription renewals, CPERS products and services, lost interlibrary loan books, conference and event registration, and more. Simply choosing the option to “deduct from your deposit account” can save you time and money.
We also have agreements in place that allow you to pay registration fees for the Library Technology Conference and the very popular University Libraries EQS Conference. All Minitex events are covered, including the Minitex Interlibrary Loan Conference, the Minnesota Digital Library Annual Meeting, the Upper Midwest Digital Collections Conference, and numerous workshops and training sessions offered by Minitex staff and members of the library community.
Using deposit account funds to pay for lost or damaged interlibrary loans is particularly efficient, eliminating the need for your library to generate and process checks. This saves Minitex time, too.
If you choose to participate, you will receive monthly email statements that allow you to keep track of your funds. If your plans change, it's no problem. Minitex will promptly refund your unspent balance to you.
