History Day research helps students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and reading skills. It also helps students build their self-esteem and confidence. This year’s theme, Turning Points in History, is a broad theme to allow students to explore topics of interest and identify critical transformational points in history that changed our understanding today. In this 50-minute session, we will look at helpful ELM and non-ELM resources and search strategies designed to get students on the right paths to primary sources and relevant information.
